Kung Pao Chicken

  • 1 package┬áSimply Asia┬« Kung Pao Chicken Steamers
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/4 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup unsalted dry roasted peanuts
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced

Cooking Instructions:

MIX Seasoning Mix, water, sugar and soy sauce in small bowl until well blended. Arrange opened Steamer Bag in 13x9-inch microwavable dish. Place chicken in Steamer Bag.

POUR seasoning mixture evenly over chicken. Sprinkle with peanuts. Shake to coat evenly. Close bag loosely with nylon tie. Arrange chicken in single layer in bag. Cut 4 small holes in top of bag to allow steam to escape.

MICROWAVE on HIGH 7 to 9 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut open bag. Stir in green onions.
